What is the LASIK eye surgery process?
We offer a complimentary screening to discuss your options with you and to make sure you are a good candidate. Once this is complete we will go over costs and payment options.
Z-LASIK is a form of the most modern lasik that is blade and pain free. This eye surgery is an outpatient procedure done at Manrique Custom Vision. We offer complimentary VIP LASIK consultations because not everyone is a candidate for LASIK eye surgery. During your consultation you will meet with our doctor to discuss your best options for visual freedom, get all of your questions answered, and see if lasik eye surgery is the right option for you.
The Blade-free LASIK eye surgery procedure is a two-step process. The first step in the LASIK eye surgery process is to create a corneal flap, which is a doorway to the tissue that will be treated underneath.
Dr. Manrique creates an ultra-thin flap on the front of the eye with a Femtosecond Z4 Laser. The second step in the process is where Dr. Manrique will gently lift the flap and use the WaveLight® EX500 to reshape the cornea. The flap is then delicately repositioned and sealed, naturally healing itself within 24 hours.
